Mercury Fuel Systems will be at the “Full of the Pipe” truck show at Punchestown. Supporting Calor Ireland, DAF Trucks and Alternative Fleet, visitors can come along and see a range of trucks fitted with Mercury’s Diesel/LPG Dual Fuel system designed specifically for trucks.
With fuel cost savings ranging from 8% to 15%, the Quicksilver-AFI system replaces up to 35% of the expensive and carbon-intensive primary fuel (diesel) with a less expensive and lower carbon-content secondary fuel, LPG.
This dual-fuel technology will deliver significant economic and environmental benefits to the Vehicle Operator. With the introduction of Bio LPG into the Irish market by Calor later in the year, even greater emissions savings will be achieved.
